MemoHoney Drug Interaction Guide
MemoHoney's nitric-oxide ingredients can interact seriously with several common medication classes — here is exactly which ones, and why.
This is the section we'd want to read carefully before ordering if we took any daily prescription medication.
Why the interaction risk is real
Four of MemoHoney's six ingredients boost nitric oxide, which widens blood vessels and can lower blood pressure. Combining that effect with medications that already lower blood pressure through a different mechanism can compound the effect unpredictably.
ACE inhibitors and ARBs
Medications like lisinopril (ACE inhibitor) and losartan (ARB) already relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure. Adding a nitric-oxide-boosting supplement on top could risk excessive, or additive, blood pressure lowering.
Calcium channel blockers
Medications like amlodipine work through a different pathway but achieve a similar vasodilation effect — stacking mechanisms increases hypotension risk.
Nitrate medications
Nitroglycerin and related nitrate medications, used for heart disease, are themselves nitric-oxide donors. Combining with MemoHoney's arginine/citrulline load is one of the higher-risk combinations here.
PDE5 inhibitors
Sildenafil and similar ED medications work downstream of the same nitric-oxide pathway. This combination is well-documented in pharmacology literature as a risk for significant blood pressure drops.
Our bottom line
If you take any of the medication classes above, or manage kidney disease, gout, or are pregnant or nursing, talk to your doctor before starting MemoHoney. See the full ingredient-level detail on our ingredients page.
